Super Moms in Supermodels Unlimited Magazine | July 27, 2010

Back in May, I had the opportunity to travel to Sedona, Arizona to shoot with Supermodels Unlimited Magazine. You can read about my post here. 

It was unexpected, but my Mom and I are in the latest issue of Supermodels Unlimited under the SuperMoms spread!!! I was beyond amped when the UPS Delivery Man dropped the issues on my front door this morning. 

Here is a scan of the photo. My Mom and I look so much alike! I’m so happy that Supermodels Unlimited Magazine gave me a chance to showcase and talk about my Mom. She has done absolutely everything possible in the world for me and sacrificed all she has to help me grow, become a better person, and achieve my dreams. My lifelong successes would not have been possible if it weren’t for her. She’s my biggest fan.

“My Mom has endured incredible hardships in her life. From escaping Communist Vietnam to America, penniless, she has always stayed positive. She worked so hard to put herself through school and graduated with two Master’s Degrees, all while supporting her husband, contributing to her community, and taking care of three children. She inspires Vietnamese-American students to learn the Vietnamese language and preserve their roots. Her three children are now very successful. My older sister is a pharmacist, my older brother is in medical school, and I am the reigning America’s U.S. Miss.”
