I am your new Miss Texas Collegiate!!!

As you all probably know, higher education is extremely important to me. I am very proud to be a student at the University of Texas. Therefore, when Mrs. Prochnow approached me about competing in the Miss Texas Collegiate Pageant, I knew in my heart this was just for me. I thought that it was such a wonderful idea to represent not only my state, but my school as well! 

This past weekend, I traveled back down to Austin for 3 days to compete in the pageant. I met some of the most inspiration girls I know, as well as gained countless experience. I am very proud and honored to say that I am now your new Miss Texas Collegiate! I feel very blessed and thankful to have such a prestigious title. For this pageant, I competed in Fun Fashion, Evening Gown, Interview, and the top 3 finalists had to answer an on-stage question. 

I would like to thank the pageant sponsors, Designs by Cooties, Jose Luis Salon, JJ Smith of WinnerViews, Texas Pageant Scene, Elizabeth Anthony, and of course, my new wonderful director, Valerie Prochnow for the incredible year I’m about to embark on.

I promise I will represent the University of Texas and the great state of Texas to the best of my abilities in this upcoming year!
