Supermodels Unlimited Magazine’s Most Beautiful Issue for 2011 | January 29, 2011
I must say, when Marc Passera of Supermodels Unlimited Magazine called to tell me that my photos were going to be published in the Most Beautiful Issue of the magazine I was shocked. I was beyond excited! On top of that, there was going to be a gala event in Miami Beach, Florida to celebrate this issue!
On Thursday, January 27, I flew from Austin, Texas to Miami Beach, Florida to get ready for my glamour-filled weekend of photoshoots, rehearsals, and runways. I got to shoot with Rodney Young and he is amazing! I can’t wait to see the rest of the shots, but in the meantime, Kimberly, the Editor in Chief kindly posted an outtake on Facebook so I can post it here!
The actual Gala was an incredible experience. It was held at Mansion Miami and Flo Rida even came to perform! My Mom and I had a lot of fun together and I got to reconnect with old friends and make a new ones. The stage was awesome and I couldn’t wait to walk the runway. There were even huge screens so people from the upstairs balcony or those in the far back could see.
After the runway show was over, I walked the red carpet and got to meet the King of the Crown, Cyrus Frakes. He was super nice said some great things about me ;) And of course, I had to pose with Marc, the one who set me up on my wild adventure with Supermodels Unlimited!
When Marc showed me my spread in the magazine while we waited for the runway show to begin I was speechless. I LOVED IT! I’m so happy that the photo of me that was selected was one where I wore an Ao Dai, the traditional Vietnamese dress.
The Most Beautiful Issue of Supermodels Unlimited Magazine is available at Barnes & Nobles nationwide!!! You can pick up a copy at your local store. My spread is in the Most Beautiful Powerhouses section on page 51.
Here is a scan of the spread below: You can click on it to make it megasized :)
To close, I would like to thank EVERYONE for their support and for believing in me. I’ve gotten emails about how inspiring I am to others and I just wanted to say thank you. Just like in my interview, I want to inspire others to do great things by doing them myself.
