It’s Up To You - New York, New York | November 4-7, 2010
This past weekend, I flew to the Big Apple to shoot a cover with Supermodels Unlimited Magazine. I was beyond excited, even though I have already paid a trip to New York before. I woke up at 3 AM Thursday morning to get ready and leave for my flight and while it was extremely early in the morning, I couldn’t wait to see my sister queens again! When my plane touched down in La Guardia Airport, a light drizzle of rain was sprinkling over the skyscrapers. I hailed a cab and drove into the city, my eyes peeled and ready to take in all the sights.
Megan, my director arranged a meeting with MMG Model Management for all of us and I was anxious to see what would come for me in the future. The meeting went great and if I’m allowed, I will keep everyone up to date on what is happening in that path.
After our meeting with MMG, we walked a few blocks to visit the Jovani Showroom and got to see the upcoming collection of dresses. And I must say, they were absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! If it were up to me, I would have bought about 70% of the room!!! We got to help Megan choose dresses for her new boutique and I helped Samantha, the World’s Glamorous PreTeen pick new gowns!
My trip to New York was filled with great shopping. Of course, I strolled down Fifth Avenue and visited J Crew, Anthropologie, Free People, Urban Outfitters, Banana Republic, and I took at cab to the Meatpacking District to visit the Tory Burch boutique to buy a pair of classic black Reva flats and I must say, I absolutely ADORE them!
While I was in New York, I also had the opportunity to visit with my friends who call the Big Apple home. They took me to Union Square, St. Mark’s, Bryant Park, The New York Public Library, and tons more! It was great to see the city from a different perspective. I tasted Eggcream, which is seltzer, flavored syrup, and cream and it was surprisingly good!!

The ice rink at Bryant Park!!! I wish I brought my skates!
I had to visit Times Square of course and while there I took plenty of photos! When I saw the ad for UFC 123, I instantly thought of Jonathan and HAD to take a photo of it since he loves Mixed Martial Arts and UFC :)

My last real day in New York was spent in Brooklyn shooting with Supermodels Unlimited and all of my sister queens and I had an absolute blast! Chris Lanston did a wonderful job doing our hair and makeup in creative ways with a touch of classic beauty still tied in. When Supermodels Unlimited posts pictures or when I get any new updates, I’ll definitely post them!

My trip to the Big Apple was amazing and I can’t wait to go back!
